Wide planks range from about 5 to 12 inches wide, but some hardwood manufacturers can go as big as 16 inches. These extra-wide formats make a dramatic statement and have the fewest seams.

Cork, in my opinion, is a superior material. It’s not as fussy as LVP with respect to humps and bumps on the floor. Cork is quieter and doesn’t expand or contract to the extent of LVP.
