The city of Bastrop is positioned for new development after amending its Comprehensive Plan to feature an updated Future Land Use Map.

On Tuesday, Jan. 21, the Bentonville Planning Commission voted to approve the adoption of Plan Bentonville’s Future Land Use Map and zoning alignment policy.

That's according to a map that shows the county's land use goals over the next 20 years, which is a part of Buncombe County's recently unveiled draft Comprehensive Plan 2043.
