COLUMBUS, Ohio — Lady Vols basketball is returning to the Sweet 16. No. 5 seed Tennessee (24-9) will face either No. 1 seed Texas or No. 8 seed Illinois on Saturday in Birmingham, Alabama.

Lady Vols basketball coach Kim Caldwell made a promise to her players that if they made it to the Sweet 16, they could stray from their shoe policy.
