How To Replace a Wall Phone Jack - MSNIt depends on the jack. A standard RJ11 wall phone jack doesn’t have enough terminals for an ethernet connection, so you’ll have to replace it with an RJ45 ethernet jack.
With the charging base plugged into the wall, slowly move your phone over the table above the base until the phone beeps to indicate that it's charging. Be patient. The phone can be finicky.
Are there any caveats? Oh sure, a few. You’ll need to plug the Sjömärke into an outlet to draw power, which will require you to discreetly snake the thin white cord down a table leg and to a wall.
