In “Memento Mori” at Novado Gallery, you’ll see a range of works by contemporary artists who employ that very concept. The exhibit opens Friday, Oct. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memento mori should motivate us to live our best days. It seems to me that when we live beyond the average number of Mondays most people get, we should make the best of them.
