Utopia of the Seas is crammed with so many activities, amenities and places to chill that you'd be hard-pressed to see and do everything during a voyage twice as long as the ones the ship offers.

But Utopia features several new venues. Pesky Parrot, named for an animatronic bird that will perch inside, offers a Caribbean take on a tiki bar in the Royal Promenade.

Utopia is being billed as the “World’s Biggest Weekend,” which means partying is the main attraction. After cruising on the ship, I’d compare it to going all out on a weekend in Las Vegas.

Royal Caribbean's Utopia of the Seas departs the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France on Sunday, June 23, 2024 on its way for a July 11 arrival in Port Canaveral.

Although Utopia of the Seas won't set sail until July 2024, people interested in spending a weekend on the ship can start booking their spot on Friday, June 23, through the company's website.

The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar, which debuted on Wonder of the Seas, will be on the Utopia. Two casinos will have 370 slot machines and 30 table games.
