The Waltham Police Department investigated a motor vehicle crash and subsequent flight of two suspects that occurred early Monday morning, Feb. 10, at approximately 12:54 a.m. Officers on patrol observed a white Volkswagen GTI and a black BMW M340XI traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Crescent Street.

Waterbury Police put out this video to highlight the work that’s being done by the city’s auto theft task force and the dangers those are officers facing. Since the start of this year the task force has tracked down 31 stolen cars around Waterbury— which is down from 94 on this same date last year.
