Augustana College’s Tredway Library received the 2025 Library Excellence in Access and Diversity award from Insight Into Diversity magazine.

"His leadership made steadfast Augustana's commitment to the liberal arts and sciences. The college library, built under his watch, was renamed in his honor in 2003.

It is the beginning of a new school year for Augustana College students, but it is the final one for retiring president J. Thomas Tredway, 66, who served the college for more than 30 years.
