During the finale of Book Two: Earth, the Gang was in dire trouble, including Toph Beifong. She fell for a trap and ended up in a metal box, with Xin Fu carting her out of Ba Sing Se to take her home.

She decided to leave her sheltered life in the wealthy Beifong family behind to teach Aang. As the series progressed, Toph’s skills improved, and she originated the skill of metalbending.

Why, it’s Toph Beifong. Toph is the last official member of Team Avatar, or The Gaang, that still need to be introduced into Netflix’s live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender.
