Meghan Markle has broken her silence today after her estranged father issued brutal criticisms against her new Netflix show. Thomas Markle, who has not been in contact with Meghan since a series of problems in 2018, slammed the Duchess of Sussex’s new show “With Love, Meghan”, saying that she was “faking” her expressions to try and be perfect.

According to Thomas, his daughters decision to give up the surname she has carried for generations deeply hurt the memories of Meghans late grandmother, who was proud to bear the name Markle.

Thomas Markle also disputed Meghan's claim that she was a "latchkey kid" who ate TV dinners on a tray. According to Thomas Markle, Meghan lived with him full-time from age 11 until university. He told the outlet: "We occasionally ate TV dinners, which family doesn't? But I was working two jobs, so money was never an issue."
