The Tlingit have many stories. They have stories of the creation of the land, stories of animals, great heroes, parables, and Kooshdakaa (Tlingit monsters). This is Yakutat now, 102 years later.
The Tlingit Indians assert that they have owned ... they demonstrated keen interest in acquiring clan objects decorated in an art form that would soon gain international attention and acclaim.
