Pods, a moving and portable storage company, ranked Houston fifth — up from 12th last year — among relocation destinations in an analysis of consumer movements within the past 15 months.

Houston-based developer GreenSpace Holdings is building a CubeSmart-branded self-storage facility utilizing old shipping containers. It will be at 2515 Westminister Road in Pearland.

"It was supposed to be picked up within 24 hours," she said. "I can't get them to pick it up." The containers are owned by PODS. The company says it is 2022's #1 moving and storage company.
