St Teresa’s has confirmed the school will reopen on Monday (September 11) a week later than planned having been forced to delay the new term for surveys to be carried out.

St Teresa's primary school will close until at least September 11 while surveyors carry out inspections. This comes as more than 100 schools across England face closure due to crumbling concrete.

The most oversubscribed school was St Teresa's Catholic Primary School, which received 55 first-preference applications for only 45 available places - leaving 10 families disappointed.
