Greenville, Horry, Oconee, Pickens and Spartanburg counties to remain under ban The State Forester’s Burning Ban will be lifted for all but five South Carolina counties at 6 a.m. Monday, March 31.

The previously statewide burning ban was lifted for the 41 other S.C. counties Monday, but remained in place for Greenville, Horry, Oconee, Pickens and Spartanburg counties, until Wednesday at noon.
