The sensor attaches to any object and creates sounds out of its vibrations. So, for instance, you can tap on a wooden table to produce a different sound than when you bang on a metal pot.

There’s also a presence sensor on the bottom of the frame that can detect motion to activate the lights. Soundwall connects over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and has to be plugged into the wall for power.
