To be honest, I'm a little surprised this thing is optional. Regrets of the Dread Wolf does a better job of developing Solas, Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain than the first 10 or so hours do.
That said, I do wish there were at least a few more of the key decisions from Inquisition, especially regarding Solas and a certain well.
