As the federal government's Social Security program undergoes major restructuring, many of the the nearly 69 million Americans who receive benefits are especially eager to see their monthly checks.

This group of recipients will get their monthly check on Thursday, April 3, regardless of their date of birth. If you receive both SSI and regular Social Security, you were paid the former on April 1 and the latter comes on April 3.
