Carrie Underwood is a Hollywood star — as in, a celebrity — who still cringes when she thinks of a gaffe she made on American Idol two decades ago. In a recent Instagram vide o in the reality show’s #IdolToIcon series, Underwood rewatched a clip from her Idol debut in 2005, when she won the competition’s fourth season.

After singing “You Can Have It All” by Hawaiian reggae group Maoli on Sunday night’s episode, “Idol” host Ryan Seacrest surprised Misailegalu by bringing out Glenn Awong, lead singer of the band. “I thought you were amazing, absolutely amazing,” Awong told Misailegalu. “I know you probably make your momma really proud.”
