AEW star Ricochet has fully embraced his heel persona, both on screen and on social media, and he has rubbed a few WWE fans the wrong way after commenting on a recent title match at WrestleMania 41.

Ricochet had some decent pushes in the lower mid-card but was a serious victim of stop-start booking. He struggled to ascend from his position and had very few notable angles or feuds.

Former WWE star Ricochet has bluntly stated that WWE ruined wrestling for him and that he’s now rediscovering his love for it during his time in AEW.

Although Ricochet debuted in AEW as a baby face, the One and Only is currently positioned as a heel. His first match in the promotion was at the All In Pay-per-view in London, England in August 2024.
