SURAT THANI: The operation to salvage the sunken Raja 4 ferry that capsized off Koh Samui island on Aug 1 has been completed, governor Wichayut Jinto said on Sunday.

The car ferry, the Raja 4 capsized in high waves about two miles from Surat Thani, on its way back from Koh Samui. It happened late at night as a storm whipped up waves in the Gulf of Thailand.
