In order to see the year-over-year difference between Samsung's premium phones, I shot over 200 photos with the Galaxy S25 Ultra and S24 Ultra. Let's find out which Ultra takes the better photos.

Samsung has officially announced its next-generation Galaxy phones: The S25 series. Sitting at the top of that lineup is the company's most premium model of Android smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

At 218 grams, it shaves nearly 15 grams off the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s total. For another inter-Samsung comparison, that’s only slightly heavier than the Galaxy S24 FE I lug around daily.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is no different, and while Samsung has toned down some of the saturation for more natural photos, the camera still takes high-quality images that are rich in color.
