When I open up the "About This Mac" section under the Apple menu, it says I'm running Mac OS X 10.5.2. However, the Leopard disc that shipped with the Open Computer is labeled Mac OS X 10.5.1.
After spending a month with Psystar's Open Computer, which runs Mac OS X in defiance of Apple's licensing policies, the question comes up: what makes a Mac a Mac?
It would be one thing if a company was selling computers without an OS and advertised it as "100% Hackintosh Capable". But to actually include MacOS is just begging for Apple's lawyers to notice you.
