After raising the prices in other territories, Netflix has stated that UK users who are subscribed to the Standard plan will have to pay £2 extra, with the price increasing from £10.99 to £12.99 per month. It will be a whole £6 more for those signed up to Netflix’s Premium plan, with a price hike of £1 bringing the overall total to £18.99 a month.

Netflix has upped its prices for the second time in just over a year, with subscribers in the UK now having to pay more for the streaming service.

Some Netflix fans in the UK are not happy with the streaming service's decision to increase its price plans yet again. The company offers three plans to its customers, which are 'standard with adverts', 'standard', and 'premium'. And now the monthly cost of each plan has gone up and users have issued complaints on social media.

Netlifx has hiked its subscription prices without adverts by £2, or 18%, to £12.99 a month for British users. It comes as the streaming service achieved record audience figures in 2024.
