Police arrived at the scene of the King George VI Reservoir, just after 11am on Tuesday, May 13. A report had been made that morning to police of a potential body in the water.

A Queens man traveling with friends was found dead in a reservoir just outside Baltimore, authorities said. Smith Veras, 20, was last seen at Liberty Reservoir on Thursday.
