A 28-year-old man faces charges in connection to the stabbing death of a Mankato gas station employee early Tuesday morning.

A man charged with fatally stabbing an employee at a Kwik Trip store in Mankato early Tuesday allegedly told investigators that he was hearing voices telling him to set the building on fire.

MANKATO – Police called to a gas station on the city’s east side early Tuesday found an employee dying on the floor from multiple stab wounds. The worker who died was Dennis Vosika, 34, of Mankato, city spokesman Paul David said in a statement Tuesday afternoon.
