Lewisville ISD’s ninth- and 10th-grade center has been dogged by controversy since its inception, so it’s no surprise that naming the new school should come with its share of debate.

The first Lewisville High School opened in 1897 when the city was a rural farming community. "Farmer Pride is 100 years old," said Permetti, referring to the school's Fighting Farmer mascot.
