Selected from over 2,300 applications, the 20 semi-finalists will present their collections for the LVMH Prize Committee of Experts in Paris next month.

This morning, the Prize announced its 2025 class of semifinalists. The 20 labels selected come from 15 countries, including Egypt, Ghana, and Saudi Arabia, all for the very first time. Renaissance Renaissance’s Cynthia Merhej of Lebanon and Soshiotsuki’s Soshi Otsuki of Japan, have both competed for the Prize before, in 2016 and 2021 respectively.

The short-listed talents demonstrate "renewed interest in tailoring, handcrafted embellishments and bold occasion dressing," according to Delphine Arnault.

Out of more than 2,300 applicants worldwide, the 20 shortlisted finalists for the semi-final of the twelfth edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers have been unveiled.

Each year, the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers not only grants a fresh batch of young talent financial support and mentoring, but it also introduces us to a roster of new names, sure to shape future fashion over the coming years.
