Many bosses in Kingdom Hearts will have Sora ditch his party members for a one-on-one battle. In both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, Sora has to do just that against Sephiroth.

However, it’s essential to note that this excludes bonus bosses. In terms of sheer difficulty, the title of the hardest boss goes to the Lingering Will in Kingdom Hearts II.

(Been occupied with Rise of the Ronin and, now, Dragon’s Dogma 2.) So, it’s possible Sephiroth is just as much of an asshole there as he is in Kingdom Hearts.
