The story of the Jesus Christ’s resurrection is one that hits home in the High Plains and for Christians everywhere noted in Luke Chapter 24.

The risen Jesus did not lay out a clear and secure path for their immediate future. The women did not know then how the story of Easter was going to turn out, as we do some 2,000 years later.

For 2,000 years, the foundation of Christianity has rested securely on the simple yet unfathomable truth that Jesus Christ is risen from the grave.

The reverence and awareness of who Jesus is and why He came is heaven’s promise of eternal life, and it’s our responsibility to remain steadfast in our obedience to Him.

Only Jesus Christ crucified, died and risen holds the promise that will not pass away or disappoint, “the promise of fullness and abundance of life, able to be lived now, and…into eternity.” ...
