Over a week later, the Sheriff’s Office released the names of three people involved in police shootings March 10, 11 and 12.

For the second day in a row, Jacksonville police were involved in a shooting, this time six officers returning fire on woman threatening suicide.

Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters said the man killed was wearing a bulletproof vest and multiple guns were found in his car.

The suspect shot by an officer was identified as 29-year-old Michael Youmans, who, according to JSO, has a 13-page criminal history. The sergeant involved in the shooting was identified as Sgt.
