A passenger died three weeks after falling down the stairs of a DLR station, British Transport Police and Transport for London have said.

The single-vehicle collision happened about a mile south of Gardens Corner, where U.S. 21 and U.S. 17 intersect.

The single-car crash claimed the life of a passenger, while the driver, who had fled the scene, was arrested, police said.
