Good Samaritans were credited for extricating two injured drivers from their vehicles following a rollover crash on Interstate 91 in Middletown on Wednesday. The crash was reported in the morning hours on the northbound side of the highway near a rest area, according to the Westfield Fire Department.

The Westfield Fire Department said one driver rolled the vehicle over and it went through a guardrail. The other spun out and reported moderate damage to the driver’s side. Both drivers were extricated by Good Samaritans before firefighters arrived. They were transported to a hospital for their injuries.
