The Indiana women’s basketball team is almost out of runway after a 70-67 loss to Michigan on Tuesday night. The Hoosiers’ latest setback raises the stakes of their three remaining games against ranked opponents as they look to get on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble.

The Hoosiers (15-8, 7-5 Big Ten) led with 2 minutes, 24 seconds to go, but lost 70-67 to a Michigan team that eliminated them from the Big Ten tournament last season. The Wolverines (17-7, 8-5) pulled out the victory despite a dominant performance from IU's Karoline Striplin, who scored 28 points (one shy of her career-high) on 12 of 19 shooting.
