With 9,218 rental households in Bradenton, the rent-to-income ratio was 38.7%, compared with the national average of 25% for small cities nationwide, according to the study.
According to ConsumerAffairs, The median rent in the U.S., $1,958 per month, vs. a median wage of $48,069. During the 2019-23 study period, wages increased 20.7% but rents increased 30.5%.
