Hamas rejects latest cease-fire proposal in Qatar, insists on IDF withdrawal from the Gaza Strip
Hamas has rejected a 60-day Gaza ceasefire proposal, a senior official in Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office told reporters Saturday.
Hamas has confirmed it has submitted a response to Israel’s latest proposal for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza, according to AFP. “Hamas has just submitted its response and that of the Palestinian factions to the ceasefire proposal to the mediators,” the group said in a statement posted on Telegram.
Gaza’s civil defence agency said Israeli attacks have killed 26 Palestinians and wounded more than 100 near two aid centres in the south of the Palestinian territory.
