The Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden bought a single-family home on a roughly half-acre lot at 16887 W. 44th Ave. for $740,000, records show.

Golden first introduced the bill in October of last year. The museum, known to many as Leonard’s Mills, was created to celebrate the state’s forest heritage.
