God’s Love We Deliver is kicking off a powerful, yearlong birthday celebration — continuing to nourish New York with the same heart and purpose that began in 1985.

God’s Love We Deliver was founded in 1985 in response to the AIDS crisis, when tens of thousands of New Yorkers suffered from the then little-understood disease and needed safe, healthy sustenance.

As I listened to my sisters, I had a sort of epiphany. So much of the time it seems we are plodding along trying to witness to God's great love and not getting very far.

Well, I have good news. God’s unchanging love for us is not dependent on our attitude and actions. That is so comforting to know. God’s love is rooted in His nature.
