GNOME is fairly customizable through tweaks and extensions. Here are some I've enjoyed over the years that I'd miss if moving back to Windows.

GNOME 46 is expected to be the default desktop environment in Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. If you're anxious to try the latest release sooner, you can also opt to test drive the nightly build of GNOME OS.

Upon installing GNOME, one of the first things I do is head over to the extensions home page and install a handful of additional features. Here are my top six. 1.
