All the cards except for the GTX 1660 Ti White Mini use dual 90mm fans. Since it is more compact (measuring 175 x 111 x38mm), the GTX 1660 Ti White Mini uses a pair of 80mm fans instead.

MSI is pricing the new GeForce GTX 1660 Ti VENTUS XS at $279, and the higher-end GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GAMING X at $299. They're both available now, starting February 22.

The GTX 1660 Ti performs about the same, with a launch price that is $100 cheaper. The RTX 2060, meanwhile, starts at $349, unless you can catch a model with a mail-in-rebate.

The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is based on the TU116 GPU, which is a different slice of silicon in comparison to any of the other Turing-based offerings in NVIDIA’s line-up.

Here the overclocked 980 Ti just edged out both the GTX 1070 and 1660 Ti to come in just behind the GTX 1070 Ti and not much slower than the RTX 2060. It also beat AMD's Vega 56 by a 6% margin.

But the GTX 1660 Ti holds its own against the GTX 1060 cards, never mind the more expensive RTX models. Flip over to a complete mainstream build and the GTX 1660 Ti looks a lot more promising.
