A repeat offender and his accomplice wanted for a string of robberies at North Texas businesses have been caught. Authorities said patience and good old-fashioned police work helped track down the suspects connected to 24 aggravated robberies in southern and southwestern areas of Fort Worth.

Justin Lockett was arrested in connection with around 24 aggravated robberies, police said in a Thursday news release. He allegedly used a gun and a mask to target businesses mainly in the city’s southern and southwestern areas over several months, according to investigators.

A 23-year-old man is accused of committing approximately 24 armed robberies at businesses in southern and southwestern Fort Worth over the past several months, Fort Worth police said.
