Florida State University is the latest university in the state to confirm that several international students’ visas have been revoked. The university told the Miami Herald Monday that three students have lost visas. When a student status is revoked, the are no longer to attend courses or work legally under their student status.

While not all the affected schools said immigration status changes were tied to activism, they come as the Trump administration cracks down on students who protested Israel’s war in Gaza.

The visas of nearly 20 Florida International University students have been revoked, part of the Trump Administration’s recent effort to terminate the visas of international students across the country.
