When applying to purchase a firearm, P.O. boxes and private mailboxes are prohibited to use as addresses, but Rep. Johnson's bill could change that.

Currently, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives prohibits listing a P.O. box or private mailbox as the address when filling out ATF Form 4473, the form to purchase a firearm.
