Glenn, who is known for her ability to land a seamless triple axel, returned to the 2025 U.S. Figure Skating Championship in January and again took home the top honor.

She announced her retirement from figure skating in April of that year, but returned to the sport in 2024. Liu won the silver at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, finishing just behind Glenn.
