Elon Musk said reports that President Donald Trump’s budget proposal would drastically cut NASA’s science funding were “troubling,” the latest public break between the president and his close adviser.

Elon Musk, White House adviser and CEO of SpaceX, expressed his opposition to the Trump administration's proposed 20% cut to NASA funding, while also stating that he cannot participate in NASA budget discussions due to SpaceX's status as a major NASA contractor.
