Fifty elite players from across the state will compete in the 44th annual MHSBCA East-West Classic this Friday at Comerica Park with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m.

In total, the 30 players on the East and West rosters combined for more than 35,900 career MLB games, 68 All-Star appearances and 10 World Series wins, according to MLB.com's Dan Chichalski.
