EA has pulled back the curtain on the next mainline entry in its long-running Battlefield franchise, explaining a new development plan involving four different studios, as well as a new way for players to hop in early to provide feedback on what the teams are making.

After the rough launch of Battlefield 2042, Electronic Arts is shaking things up for its flagship first-person shooter franchise. In a video released this week, the publisher outlined ambitious development plans for the next Battlefield game,

EA went on further to say that Labs will play “a significant role in the development that Battlefield Studios is doing for the series,” so those who are looking to help out the game’s direction or just try it out early can try to enlist and be a part of something potentially big.
