VIJAYAWADA: Come April, the Kanaka Durga Varadhi junction in the city is set to get a complete makeover as a massive Dharmachakra will greet the people who would pass by the area.

The two-day Global Buddhist Summit was held on 20-21 April 2023 at Hotel Ashok in New Delhi under the theme Responses to Contemporary Challenges: Philosophy to Praxis.

Earlier, a similar stone-carved Dharmachakra was unearthed at Kanaganahalli-Sannati archaeological site in Karnataka. A terracotta Dharmachakra with 32 spokes was excavated at Lumbini in Nepal.
