BART shut down its Balboa Park, Daly City and Colma stations about 10 a.m. At 11:25 a.m., they opened the Balboa Park station. The other two continued to be closed at noon, officials said.

The officers pulled over near Daly City BART on the corner of Junipero Serra and John Daly Boulevard. They called 911 which initiated a hazmat response for one of the cylinders collected.
