James Kent, the restaurateur known for the Michelin-starred Manhattan restaurants Crown Shy and Saga, as well as sibling rooftop bar Overstory, has a new fine dining restaurant in the works.
The group led by managing partner and head chef James Kent signed a lease for a 7,000 square-foot eatery at BXP’s 360 Park Avenue South at East 26 th Street.

At Crown Shy, downstairs from Saga, Jassimran Singh, who has been with the company for several years, will head the kitchen team. Overstory, the bar at Saga, is run by Harrison Ginsberg.
This is the first restaurant from the recently renamed Kent Hospitality to open in the wake of Saga and Crown Shy restaurateur Jamal James Kent’s untimely death in June.
