The C6 Z06 boasts the most powerful naturally-aspirated V8 General Motors engine of its time. “It’s big, and it’s got big power,” DeMuro noted, with 500 horsepower and a manual transmission.
To remind you, the Z06 arrived for the 2006 model year as a homologation vehicle. It packed a 7-liter V8 engine capable of pushing 505 hp (512 ps) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque.
Bottom line is, if you want a C6 ZR1 for the fun of it, it will cost you about the same as an entry-level C8. But a pristine-looking one might end up costing 50% more than a brand-new Z06.
